Terms of Service

Gather&Go is for people aged 18 and over. Every account must pass an identity and age check. You agree that the information you give us is true, that the ID you present is your own, and that you will not create an account for anyone else.

One person, one account. If we removed your account before, you may not sign up again.

Gather&Go has a strict, zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive members. There are no warnings for serious violations. The following is never allowed, anywhere in the app or at any Gather&Go activity:

Harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation or bullying. Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a minor — this is reported to law enforcement. Non-consensual sexual content, nudity or pornography. Sexual solicitation, escort services or human trafficking. Violence, gore, or promoting self-harm. Illegal drugs, weapons sales, or any other unlawful activity. Scams, fraud, phishing, pyramid schemes or spam. Impersonating another person. Recording, photographing or sharing another member's private information, address or images without consent. Discriminatory exclusion outside the app's own safety-based eligibility options.

How we enforce this. Every profile, activity and message can be reported from inside the app, and you can block any member instantly. Reports go to our moderation queue and are reviewed. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the accounts responsible are suspended or permanently terminated — typically without prior notice, and with no refund of any unused subscription time. Where behaviour is criminal, we cooperate with law enforcement.

You are solely responsible for the content you post and the way you behave toward other members, both online and in person.

Gather&Go verifies that members are real adults. It does not and cannot guarantee anyone's character, honesty, skills, fitness, insurance or intentions. Identity verification, ratings and badges reduce risk; they do not eliminate it.

You join and host activities entirely at your own risk. Use your judgement: meet in public where you can, tell someone where you are going, do not share your home address or financial details, and leave any situation that feels wrong. Physical activities can cause injury, and you take part voluntarily.

Gather&Go is not a party to any arrangement between members, does not supervise activities, does not employ or endorse any host, and is not responsible for what happens at a gathering.

As a host you must describe your activity honestly — the place, time, cost, capacity and any requirement to join. You must respect the eligibility rules you set, treat every applicant fairly, and cancel promptly and honestly if plans change.

You are responsible for having any permission, licence, insurance or venue consent your activity needs, and for complying with local law.

If your activity has a cost, state it clearly. Gather&Go does not handle payments between members and takes no part in those arrangements.

Premium is an optional paid subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. The price, period and any trial are shown before you confirm.

In the phone apps, Premium is purchased and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation and refunds for those purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms, through your store account settings — we cannot cancel or refund a store subscription for you.

On the web, Premium is billed by our payment processor and can be cancelled from the app at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.

Free trials convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Except where the law or a store policy requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable, and we do not refund unused time when an account is terminated for breaking these terms.

We may change Premium pricing or features. Price changes are announced before they affect your renewal, and you can cancel instead.

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. Cancel automatic renewal first so you are not billed again.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account — immediately and without notice — if you break these terms, endanger another member, or use the service unlawfully.

Gather&Go is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any activity will take place as described.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Gather&Go is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, nor for injury, loss or damage arising from your interactions with other members or from any in-person activity. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty Canadian dollars, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

You agree to indemnify Gather&Go against claims arising from your content, your conduct, or any activity you host or attend.
